Graduation Ceremony

Senior Information- information is subject to change

Class Of 2026 Items To Complete:

Fall

  • Senior Sunrise (optional)- Sep. 5th- 6:30am on the football field
  • Senior Class Panoramic Picture- Sep 5th- 10am
  • Attend Senior Graduation Meeting- Completed- Sep 10th @ 12:30pm
  • Order Cap and Gown and Grad Packages- Fall Orders- December 6th, 2025
  • Senior Portraits with Ken Brown Photo- by October 1st
  • Submit Graduate Diploma Form- by November 12th (will be posted in senior google classroom and sent to senior APS gmails in September)

Spring

  • Pay all fines and fees- May 14th deadline
  • Turn in library books- May 14th deadline
  • Turn in all text books- May 14th deadline
  • Turn in chrome books/tech items- May 14th deadline
  • Senior Exit survey- May 13th
  • Senior Next Step Plan- May 13th
  • Meet all credits required for graduation- May 13th

Guest Reminders

If you will be joining us for Graduation, we want to remind you of the following rules at Tingley Coliseum for the Commencement Ceremony:

  • All guests entering Tingley Coliseum will be required to walk thru metal detectors. Please allow extra time for this.  You will be required to return any unauthorized items back to your vehicle prior to entering if you have them.
  • Guests will not be permitted to carry in bags unless they are clear bags.
  • No Weapons
  • No outside food or drink allowed.
  • No Noisemakers
  • No Balloons or Beach Balls
  • No glass vases
  • No illegal substance
  • Nothing that will prevent the enjoyment of graduation for those around you.

Flowers are permitted (West Mesa Senate and West Mesa Ed Rising will be selling flowers at the entrance to give to graduates before the ceremony)

Senior Portraits

Take your senior portraits with Ken Brown Photo.  If you take your senior portrait with Ken Brown before the school year starts, you will get your actual senior portrait photo pose on your school ID this year.

All Sessions Booked First Come, First Served Online

See all available appointment times and BOOK ONLINE.

  • All seniors who would like to be in senior section of yearbook must take a yearbook photo with Kenneth Brown Photography
  • The studio is located at 207 Candelaria NW Suite B, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
  • APS dress code is strictly enforced for the yearbook photos. If your outfit does not meet APS dress code you will need to reschedule at your own expense.
