Class of 2026 Graduation Week
May 12th-May 19th, 2025
ALL EVENTS EXCECPT THE SENIOR BBQ ARE MANDATORY! Be on time for all events! Seniors who do not attend the practices or the Robing & Honors Night itself may not be allowed to walk at Graduation. Below is a layout of our projected days leading up to graduation which is set for May 20th, 2026 in Tingley Coliseum at 9:30am. Please keep in mind that minor changes to dates and times of practices or other senior events could be made, but I will update seniors asap. My hopes are to give families plenty of planning time related to graduation week. We are waiting to see the final decision on Seniors last day from APS, but it could be May 19th.

May TBD- Senior Final Exam Makeup
- Senior Final Exams Makeup by 11am

May 13th

- 2:30 to 3:30- graduation seating practice Main Gym- -MANDATORY
May 15th- Graduation Practice- Main Gym
- 2pm- 4pm- Graduation Practice- Main Gym- -MANDATORY
- 4pm -6pm- Cap and Gown Distribution after practice- all fines/fees/books/tech turned in prior mandatory (name pronunciations and movements) -MANDATORY
- Seniors will also receive their AP sashes if they ordered them and met the requirements 4-6pm
- (Reminder: Seniors that pay fines/fees and return books/tech by May 14th will get FAST PASS from Mrs. Oglesby in the Library for cap and gown pickup. Seniors who are not cleared will have to go through the checkout line prior to the cap and gown line back in the admin building.
May 18th- GradWalk at Feeder Schools and Senior Celebration
- seniors that pay fines/fees/return items by the 14th-get cap & gown FAST PASS
- 9am-2pm- Graduates Conduct Grad Walk at Feeder Elementary/Middle Schools- 45 seniors can volunteer- bus will be provided
- 4pm to 6:00- Senior Celebration on the soccer field
May 19th-Graduation Practice and Robing Ceremony
- 12pm to 2pm- Graduation Movement Practice in the main gym -MANDATORY
- 4:45- Graduates and their robing person report. Seniors wear semi-formal wear. Bring cap and gowns and any approved awards
- 5:30- Doors open for families and spectators
- 6pm- Robing Ceremony with family begins MANDATORY
May 20th, 2025- Graduation- Tingley Coliseum
- 7:15am- Seniors need to be already standing in line wearing their cap and gown no later than 7:15am (Absolutely no extra items or bags)
- 8:30am- Doors will open to spectators
- 9:30am- Commencement Ceremony start time.
- 10:45am-11am- Parent meet graduates in meet and greet area
Important Notes
- Graduates must report to graduation wearing their cap and gown/official awards. Absolutely no extra items/bags/hangers/etc. If you show up with any extra items, you will need to return to the vehicle to store it and will not be allowed to enter
- Metal detectors will be utilized for all spectators and graduates
- Any bags brought by spectators must be clear. Bags that are not clear must be returned to the vehicle before entering.

Guest Reminders
If you will be joining us for Graduation, we want to remind you of the following rules at Tingley Coliseum for the Commencement Ceremony:
- All guests entering Tingley Coliseum will be required to walk thru metal detectors. Please allow extra time for this. You will be required to return any unauthorized items back to your vehicle prior to entering if you have them.
- Guests will not be permitted to carry in bags unless they are clear bags.
- No Weapons
- No outside food or drink allowed.
- No Noisemakers
- No Balloons or Beach Balls
- No glass vases
- No illegal substance
- Nothing that will prevent the enjoyment of graduation for those around you.
Flowers are permitted (West Mesa Senate and West Mesa Ed Rising will be selling flowers at the entrance to give to graduates before the ceremony)

Senior Portraits
Take your senior portraits with Ken Brown Photo. If you take your senior portrait with Ken Brown before the school year starts, you will get your actual senior portrait photo pose on your school ID this year.
All Sessions Booked First Come, First Served Online

- All seniors who would like to be in senior section of yearbook must take a yearbook photo with Kenneth Brown Photography
- The studio is located at 207 Candelaria NW Suite B, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
- APS dress code is strictly enforced for the yearbook photos. If your outfit does not meet APS dress code you will need to reschedule at your own expense.
