The vision for West Mesa as a Community School is to create a place where everyone loves to learn and feels safe, connected, respected and valued.
This involves being a place and a set of partnerships to represent a holistic approach to tackling barriers to and promoting opportunities for improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities. These partnerships help identify and address non-academic barriers our students experience and, in the process, works with a team of community members to fill in these gaps so everyone can thrive.
Your Voice Matters!
Our community school council meets at 4:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month during the school year. Our goal is to have a wide variety of students, family members, staff, and representatives from the community sitting on our council. Can you help us make decisions that best represent and support our community? If interested, contact Sharay Hill below.
